HITLER: Man of the Century
R. Hu
The twentieth century, was sadly on the brink;
What luck for rulers that men do not think!
The worst war ever; this person began;
Adolf Hitler is this century’s man.
Some say he was evil, some say he was mad;
Turned a symbol of good, into a symbol of bad.
He shaped all our lives, and so I dread;
Had he not lived, we’d all be dead!
Hitler was the greatest leader, for what it’s worth;
He caused more suffering, than anyone on earth!
There is a cloud of evil, when one says his name;
Fascism, was this man’s only game!
He left Europe, in the face of grim;
The Soviets would have murdered him.
Russia was Stalin’s; Germany was his;
Everyone knows who Hitler is!
This infamous man, has been reduced to jokes;
The “Hitler Diaries” were only a hoax!
They would raise their arms, and all alike:
“A thousand years, to Hitler’s Third Reich!”
He changed the colors, to red and black;
“Strength lies not in defense, but in attack!”
He changed the world, but deeply in vain;
Millions have perished, under his reign.
What cruelty, has the new world spawn?
Despite drawbacks, a new day will dawn.
Hitler is remembered, even after he’s gone;
Good is forgotten…and evil lives on.
